I broke out My Utmost for His Highest again today and Chambers was loaded for bear! The title of today's devotional is "Quench Not The Spirit." He bases it on I Thess. 5:19. His opened statement is, get ready for this, "The voice of the Spirit is...so gentle that unless you are living in perfect communion with God, you never hear it." That is powerful, don't you think?!

One of my very favorite quotes comes from Chambers: "No love of the natural heart is safe unless the human heart has been satisfied by God first." Wow. Thanks for sharing!
